The last full day in Camp was awesome! Most classes had finished on Thursday because much of Friday was devoted to the Camp-wide games. Troop 804's Aris Horn took one of the shooting awards! The boys also enjoyed a closing campfire which included two skits from Troop 804, including a very-well-received rendition of the "Meatloaf Skit".

The boys did spend time this evening planning for tomorrow - how to break camp, load up, and get out on time. There was also discussion about what movie they might watch on the bus ride home - seems like they had agreed to let the girls from Troop 192 pick for the return ride (since the boys picked the movie on the way here) and it sounds like they expect to watch "The Princess Diaries"!

We are planning to be ready for dismissal from Baldwin Hall tomorrow at 12:30pm (a bit later than original plans).

Thursday was beautiful at Hawk Mountain. As you can see, the sun was shining, the boats were floating, the tents were pitching, and the balls were gaga-ing. Homesickness has not been much of a problem at all and the Scouts are having loads of fun!

Last full day coming up. Scouts (and adults) are glad they came but will be glad to get home too.

But, brace yourself. Even with showers, you don't need eyes or ears to tell when Scouts are around....

Another great day, with great weather too! You can see golfing, cooking, swimming, flag raising, climbing, even archery-ing -- along with mail call... and a few Scouts doing things that we can't even begin to describe!

Reports "from the ground" continue to say that things are going very well!

As you can see, the boys are well into merit badge classes and other activities. You can see Scouts on the Zip Line, at the pool, on the archery range, in the handicrafts lodge, in kayaks, just hanging out ... and, of course, in the Gaga Ball pit.

Things are going well!

Great memories in the making…thank you for capturing some! Was thinking of you all last night as we had a bad storm around 8pm but it opened to a beautiful sunset. Looking forward to the upcoming posts. Thank you to the adults being there!
